Voter participation is at historic lows in New York and across the country. We're partnering with employers to help reverse this trend and increase voter turnout by encouraging employees to vote in the primaries on September 12th and in the general election on November 7th.
New York law even requires that all employees receive two hours paid leave to vote if they don't have four consecutive non-working hours between polls opening and closing. Additionally, all employers are required to notify employees of their right to vote at least two weeks in advance of an election.
